Дьяконов, Алексей Николаевич

Алексей Николаевич Дьяконов (Алексей Дьяконофф; 1 марта 1907[1][2], Санкт-Петербург[3] — 20 сентября 1989[1][2], Лейден, Южная Голландия[3]) — нидерландский энтомолог-лепидоптеролог русского происхождения.

Биография

Родился в 1907 году в Санкт-Петербурге. После революции 1917 года вместе с родителями эмигрировал в Голландскую Ост-Индию (ныне — Индонезия). Дьяконов окончил школу в Голландской Ост-Индии, после чего изучал биологию в Амстердамском университете. Окончив биологический факультет, Дьяконов в 1939 году вернулся на Яву, чтобы заниматься энтомологией.

В 1941 году ему предложили должность в Богорском зоологическом музее при Богорском ботаническом саду, но начавшееся японское вторжение воспрепятствовало этому. В 1945 году Дьяконов вернулся в Нидерланды и работал в Лейденском музее хранителем коллекции чешуекрылых. Когда голландцы попытались восстановить контроль над Явой, Дьяконов ненадолго вернулся в Богор, но в 1951 году был вынужден окончательно покинуть Индонезию.

В дальнейшем жил в Нидерландах, где снова работал в Лейденском музее, являлся Нидерландского энтомологического общества, кроме того, долгое время занимал пост редактора научного журнала «Tijdschrift voor Entomologie».

Опубликовал около 250 научных работ (подписывался Diakonoff, A.N.). Является автором 390 энтомологических таксонов.

Скончался Дьяконов в 1989 году в Лейдене. Сегодня собранная им энтомологическая коллекция образцов хранится в созданном на базе Лейденского музея Музейно-научном центре Натуралис.
