My home wiki is Latvian Wikipedia and I have been active editor since 2009. During these 15 years I’ve become one of the more prolific contributors (currently 5th by number of edits). In our rather quiet community I’m also among the most active editors.
Since 2017 I’ve been an administrator, and I take care of the “Did you know…” section on our main page.
My interests cover a wide range of topics — geography (especially Latvia and neighboring countries), nature (with a special focus on Latvian birds), politics, history, sports (especially basketball), and various current affairs. A big part of my wiki-time goes into checking new articles: in fact, I’ve reviewed almost every single one created in Latvian Wikipedia over the past decade.
I’m proud of what we’ve built. Our Wikipedia may not be among the largest, but I believe it is high-quality, self-organized, and ready for the future.
