I’m Konstantinos Stampoulis, but most people in the Wikimedia world know me as Geraki. I’ve been part of the Wikimedia movement since 2003.

I’m an administrator and bureaucrat on both the el.wikipedia (since 2005) and el.wikisource. Along the way, I have created and improved several articles, texts, templates, I’ve created gadgets, run bots, helped out as an OTRS/VRT agent and globalrenamer, and even survived the 100wikidays challenge.

You’ll often find me working on Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata and do translations in MediaWiki wiki, translatewiki and Meta.

Since 2009, I’ve been organizing activities to spread the word about Wikimedia. Some highlights include, running the Wikipedia Education Program in several departments in several departments in the universities of Thessaloniki, and several GLAM related activities (e.g Thesswiki), and organizing the Wiki Loves X contests in Greece. I am a founding member of Wikimedia Community User Group Greece.

Beyond Wikimedia I also contribute to OpenStreetMap, translate free software applications, and I am a member of Open Knowledge Greece and GreekLUG.

I have a degree in European Civilization[1] and work as a professional firefighter.
