Flatidae (ëàò.) — ñåìåéñòâî ðàâíîêðûëûõ íàñåêîìûõ èç íàäñåìåéñòâà Fulgoroidea. Âñòðå÷àþòñÿ ïîâñåìåñòíî, âî âñåõ çîîãåîãðàôè÷åñêèõ îáëàñòÿõ ìèðà[2].

Îïèñàíèå
Ñðåäíåãî ðàçìåðà è ìåëêèå íàñåêîìûå. Äëèíà òåëà îò 4,5 äî 32 ìì. Îêîëî 20 âèäîâ Flatidae ðàññìàòðèâàþòñÿ ñåðü¸çíûìè âðåäèòåëÿìè ýêîíîìè÷åñêè âàæíûõ êóëüòóð, òàêèõ êàê êîôå, ÷àé, êàêàî, ìàíãî, öèòðóñîâûå, ÿáëîíÿ, âèøíÿ (Wilson and O’Brien 1986).  Åâðîïå îïàñíûì ÿâëÿåòñÿ âèä Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830), çàâåç¸ííûé â Èòàëèþ èç ÑØÀ â 1973 ãîäó (Arzone et al. 1987)[2][3].
