Êëàóñ Êîíðàä Êëîñòåðìàéåð (íåì. Klaus Konrad Klostermaier, 14 èþíÿ 1933, Ìþíõåí, Ãåðìàíèÿ — 26 ôåâðàëÿ 2024, Âèííèïåã, Êàíàäà)[1] — íåìåöêî-êàíàäñêèé ðåëèãèîâåä è èíäîëîã, ÷ëåí Êîðîëåâñêîãî îáùåñòâà Êàíàäû (1997), çàñëóæåííûé ïðîôåññîð Ìàíèòîáñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà (1986), çàâåäóþùèé êàôåäðîé ðåëèãèîâåäåíèÿ Ìàíèòîáñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà (1986—1997), ãëàâà Öåíòðà àçèàòñêèõ èññëåäîâàíèé (1990—1995), àâòîð 12 ìîíîãðàôèé è áîëåå 100 íàó÷íûõ ñòàòåé.[2]  êðóã ïðîôåññèîíàëüíûõ èíòåðåñîâ Êëîñòåðìàéåðà âõîäèëè èçó÷åíèå èíäèéñêèõ ðåëèãèé, âçàèìîîòíîøåíèé íàóêè è ðåëèãèè, à òàêæå ìåæðåëèãèîçíûé äèàëîã.[2]

Ñîäåðæàíèå

Áèîãðàôèÿ

Ðîäèëñÿ 14 èþíÿ 1933 ãîäà â Ìþíõåíå.[3]  1952 ãîäó îêîí÷èë ñ çîëîòîé ìåäàëüþ ãèìíàçèþ âî Ôðàéçèíãå.[3]  òîì æå ãîäó ïîñòóïèë â Ïàïñêèé ãåðìàíñêî-âåíãåðñêèé êîëëåãèóì â Ðèìå.[3]  ïåðèîä ñ 1952 ïî 1955 ãîä Êëîñòåðìàéåð ó÷èëñÿ íà ôèëîñîôñêîì ôàêóëüòåòå Ïàïñêîãî Ãðèãîðèàíñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà â Ðèìå, ïîëó÷èâ òàì â 1954 ãîäó ñòåïåíü áàêàëàâðà.[3]  òîì æå ãîäó îí ïîëó÷èë ñòåïåíü ëèöåíöèàòà ïî ôèëîñîôèè. Åãî äèññåðòàöèÿ íàçûâàëàñü «Bonum qua objectum formale voluntatis et finis ultimus hominis».[3]

 ïåðèîä ñ 1955 ïî 1960 ãîä Êëîñòåðìàéåð èçó÷àë òåîëîãèþ, ñðàâíèòåëüíîå ðåëèãèîâåäåíèå è ýòíîëîãèþ â Èíñòèòóòå ôèëîñîôèè è òåîëîãèè ñâ. Ãàáðèýëÿ â ̸äëèíãå, Àâñòðèÿ.[3] Òàì îí ïîëó÷èë ñòåïåíü áàêàëàâðà ïî òåîëîãèè è ñðàâíèòåëüíîìó ðåëèãèîâåäåíèþ çàùèòèâ äèññåðòàöèþ «Ñïàñåíèå â áóääèçìå è õðèñòèàíñòâå: ïðåäñòàâëåíèå è ñðàâíåíèå îñíîâíûõ èäåé» (íåì. Erlsung im Buddhismus und im Christentum: Darstellung und Vergleich der Grundideen).[3]

 1960 ãîäó Êëîñòåðìàéåð âåðíóëñÿ â Ïàïñêèé Ãðèãîðèàíñêèé óíèâåðñèòåò, ãäå â 1961 ãîäó çàùèòèë äîêòîðñêóþ äèññåðòàöèþ «Ñîâðåìåííûé èíäóèçì è îáùåñòâåííîå óñòðîéñòâî Èíäèè» (íåì. Der moderne Hinduismus und die soziale Neuordnung Indiens) è ïîëó÷èë äîêòîðñêóþ ñòåïåíü ïî ôèëîñîôèè.[2]

 1962 ãîäó Êëîñòåðìàéåð îòïðàâèëñÿ â Èíäèþ, ãäå äî 1964 ãîäà çàíèìàëñÿ èçó÷åíèåì èíäèéñêîé ôèëîñîôèè â îñíîâàííîì è ðóêîâîäèìîì Ñâàìè Áîíîì Èíñòèòóòå âîñòî÷íîé ôèëîñîôèè âî Âðèíäàâàíå (ôèëèàëå Óíèâåðñèòåòà Àãðû).[3]  ýòîò ïåðèîä Êëîñòåðìàéåð íåñêîëüêî ðàç âñòðå÷àëñÿ ñ Áõàêòèâåäàíòîé Ñâàìè, ñ êîòîðûì îí æèë ïî ñîñåäñòâó.[4] Ýòî ïðîèçîøëî çà íåñêîëüêî ëåò äî òîãî, êàê Áõàêòèâåäàíòà Ñâàìè îòïðàâèëñÿ ïðîïîâåäîâàòü ãàóäèÿ-âàéøíàâèçì íà Çàïàäå è îñíîâàë â ÑØÀ Ìåæäóíàðîäíîå îáùåñòâî ñîçíàíèÿ Êðèøíû.[4]

Ñ 1964 ïî 1969 ãîä Êëîñòåðìàéåð èçó÷àë äðåâíåèíäèéñêóþ èñòîðèþ è êóëüòóðó â Áîìáåéñêîì óíèâåðñèòåòå.[3]  1969 ãîäó îí çàùèòèë òàì ñâîþ âòîðóþ äîêòîðñêóþ äèññåðòàöèþ «Ìîêøà: ìèôîëîãèÿ è ôèëîñîôèÿ ñïàñåíèÿ â òåèñòè÷åñêèõ òðàäèöèÿõ Èíäèè» (àíãë. Moksa: Mythologies and Philosophies of Salvation in the Theistic Traditions of India).[2]  1964—1965 ãîäàõ Êëîñòåðìàéåð áûë ïðîôåññîðîì èíäèéñêîé àíòðîïîëîãèè â Èíñòèòóòå ñîöèàëüíûõ íàóê Òàòà â Áîìáåå-×åìáóðå.[3] Ñ 1965 ïî 1970 ãîä îí çàíèìàë äîëæíîñòü äèðåêòîðà Èíñòèòóòà èíäèéñêîé êóëüòóðû â Áîìáåå.[3]

 1970 ãîäó Êëîñòåðìàéåð ïåðååõàë â Êàíàäó, ãäå åìó ïðåäëîæèëè äîëæíîñòü ïðîôåññîðà êàôåäðû ðåëèãèîâåäåíèÿ â Ìàíèòîáñêîì óíèâåðñèòåòå.[3]  1977—1978 ãîäàõ îí ñíîâà ïîñåòèë Èíäèþ, ãäå äàâàë ëåêöèè â Èíñòèòóòå ôèëîñîôèè Ñàðâåïàëëè Ðàäõàêðèøíàíà Ìàäðàññêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà.[3]  1986 ãîäó Êëîñòåðìàéåð ïîëó÷èë çâàíèå «çàñëóæåííîãî ïðîôåññîðà» Ìàíèòîáñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà è áûë íàçíà÷åí çàâåäóþùèì êàôåäðîé ðåëèãèîâåäåíèÿ — äîëæíîñòü, êîòîðóþ îí çàíèìàë äî 1997 ãîäà.[3] Ñ 1990 ïî 1995 ãîä Êëîñòåðìàéåð òàêæå âîçãëàâëÿë Öåíòð àçèàòñêèõ èññëåäîâàíèé.[3] Çà ñâîè çàñëóãè îí áûë óäîñòîåí ðÿäà íàãðàä â íàó÷íîé ñôåðå.[2][5]  1998 ãîäó Êëîñòåðìàéåð áûë èçáðàí ÷ëåíîì Êàíàäñêîãî êîðîëåâñêîãî îáùåñòâà — ñòàðåéøåé â Êàíàäå àññîöèàöèè ó÷¸íûõ.[2]

 ïåðèîä ñ 1997 ïî 1998 ãîä Êëàóñ Êëîñòåðìàéåð òàêæå çàíèìàë äîëæíîñòü íàó÷íîãî ðóêîâîäèòåëÿ Îêñôîðäñêîãî öåíòðà èíäóèñòñêèõ èññëåäîâàíèé.[3] Ñ 1999 ãîäà îí ÿâëÿåòñÿ çàñëóæåííûì ïðîôåññîðîì â îòñòàâêå Ìàíèòîáñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà.[2] Ïî äàííûì íà 2010 ãîä, Êëîñòåðìàéåð ïðîäîëæàåò äàâàòü ëåêöèè â óíèâåðñèòåòå.

 2004 ãîäó â ÷åñòü Ê. Êëîñòåðìàéåðà áûëà îïóáëèêîâàíà êîëëåêòèâíàÿ ìîíîãðàôèÿ The Persistent Challenge: Religion, Truth, and Scholarship: Essays in Honor of Klaus Klostermaier.[6]

Ëè÷íàÿ æèçíü

Áûë æåíàò íà Äîðèñ Êëîñòåðìàéåð (óðîæä¸ííîé Âåíöåëü).[3] Îò ýòîãî áðàêà ðîäèëèñü äâå äî÷åðè: Êîðíåëèÿ è Ýâåëèí.[3]
