Neat Records — çâóêîçàïèñûâàþùèé ëåéáë, îñíîâàííûé â ïðèãîðîäå Íüþêàñëà, Àíãëèÿ. Ëåéáë áûë ñîçäàí â 1979 ãîäó Äýâèäîì Âóäîì, êîòîðûé áûë âëàäåëüöåì Impulse Studios â Óîëëñåíäå (Wallsend).[1] Êëþ÷åâîé ôèãóðîé â ñîçäàíèè ëåéáëà ñòàë Ñòèâ Òîìïñîí (Steve Thompson). Òîìïñîí áûë ïðîäþñåðîì íà Impulse Studios è ïîìîã ñîçäàòü Neat Records, ñòàë ìåíåäæåðîì ïî ïîäáîðó àðòèñòîâ, ïîäãîòîâèë âñå íà÷àëüíûå çàïèñè, à òàêæå óïðàâëÿë èçäàòåëüñêèì îòäåëîì ëåéáëà — Neat Music. Ëåéáë áûë ïðîäàí â 1995 ãîäó åãî òîãäàøíèì âëàäåëüöåì, áûâøèì âîêàëèñòîì Tygers of Pan Tang Äæåññîì Êîêñîì Sanctuary Records.[2]

Neat Records áûë, âîçìîæíî, íàèáîëåå âàæíûì ëåéáëîì â âîçðîæäåíèè õýâè-ìåòàëà â íà÷àëå 80-õ ãîäîâ â Âåëèêîáðèòàíèè (äâèæåíèå, ñòàâøåå èçâåñòíûì êàê Íîâàÿ âîëíà áðèòàíñêîãî õýâè-ìåòàëà (NWOBHM)). Ëåéáë òàêæå âûïóñòèë ïåðâûå àëüáîìû ãðóïïû èç Íüþêàñëà Venom, ïîëîæèâøèå íà÷àëî áëåê-ìåòàëó. Õîòÿ íè îäíà èç ãðóïï ëåéáëà íå ñòàëà «ìåéíñòðèìîâîé», òàêèå ãðóïïû êàê Venom, Raven, Blitzkrieg è Jaguar, çíà÷èòåëüíî ïîâëèÿëè íà ìíîæåñòâî ïîçäíåéøèõ, áîëåå ïîïóëÿðíûõ ãðóïï, â ÷àñòíîñòè íà àìåðèêàíñêèå òðýø-ìåòàë ãðóïïû, òàêèå êàê Metallica, Megadeth è Anthrax.

Ñðåäè äðóãèõ ãðóïï, âûïóñêàâøèõñÿ íà Neat Records, áûëè White Spirit (ãäå èãðàë áóäóùèé ãèòàðèñò Iron Maiden ßíèê Ãåðñ) è Persian Risk (ãäå èãðàë áóäóùèé ãèòàðèñò Motrhead Ôèë Êýìïáåëë).
