Peltogasterellidae (лат.) — семейство паразитических усоногих ракообразных (Rhizocephala, Cirripedia, Crustacea). Паразиты раков-отшельников (Paguridae) и крабов Galatheidae (Anomura).

Описание

Цилиндрические или полуцилиндрические колониальные экстерны, соединенные с общей внутренней корневой системой; экстерны производят только один или два выводка (Heg & Ltzen, 1985; Yoshida et al., 2015), а затем заменяются новым поколением экстерн, которые не развиваются один к одному с предыдущими. Паразиты раков-отшельников (Paguridae) и крабов Galatheidae (Anomura)[1][2][3].

Классификация

Известно 4 рода и около 10 видов. Классификация по данным Chan et al. (2021). Семейство входит в состав группы корнеголовые (Rhizocephala)[1][2][4], которые ранее рассматривали в ранге надотряда[5], а с 2021 года в ранге инфракласса[2]. Семейство был впервые выделено в 2019 году датским карцинологом Jens T. Heg и норвежским биологом Henrik Glenner[3][6].

Филогения

Следующая кладограмма суммирует внешние связи с другими семействами Rhizocephala по состоянию на 2020 год[1], а также количество видов в каждом семействе[2].
