Bug report
In ru-wiki we use link for edit zero section of articte. Visual editor open link for zero section and scroll to the end of article.
sample for Википедия:
In Настройки - Редактирование i check " Предупреждать, когда не заполнено поле описания правки". I make changes in article and press button "Записать страницу". In bubble i don't write summary and press button "Записать страницу". But, starting showing message "Вы не дали краткого описания изменений. При повторном нажатии на кнопку «Записать» ваши изменения будут сохранены без описания.", button "Записать страницу" do not more active and i can not save the page.
Without this preserence articles save normally. I try do it in en-wiki with check "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" in preferences and bubble show the same text "Reminder: You have not provided an edit summary" and button "save page" making unactive.Sunpriat11:24, 28 июня 2014 (UTC)[ответить]

Yes, Parsoid (a back-end part of MediaWiki that VisualEditor relies on) tries its best to understand your wikitext, but in this case gives up and just deletes the mis-placed tag, so on save it gets removed. Jdforrester (WMF)19:39, 7 июля 2014 (UTC)[ответить]
"Edit source" - it's short for english, but directly translate to russian is "Править исходный код" - it's too looong and very technical. I don't read Russian, but my technical dictionary gives the translation for "source editor" (the piece of software, not the action of using it) as "редактор исходного текста" (which looks like it is 'the editor of the source text'). Yes. "source editor" (the piece of software)="source code editor", but in Russian we don't use "source"(software) separately from the "source code", frequently used just "code", but it's more commonly associated with programming languages (we have a IT-jargon word "исходник" - this word corresponds "source", but you will not find it in normal dictionaries). "Edit source text" as "Edit source code" - it's long. "Edit text", "text editor" more associated with notepad and msWord. in VE template editor show some wikitext as plain text. It would be useful if in editor in description for template and his parameters worked at least links to other articles (for example, to be able to give a link to the rule or guidline). Also will be useful if it works with bold, italic, analogue <br/>.

It seems to me, is sorely lacking references from template editor for the template. Now, when I insert the template and the template does not have TemplateData, then I see the text "It doesn't yet have a description, but there might be some information on the template's page." where "template's page" is a link to the template. But when I edit the template with filled TemplateData, then the editor is no more has a useful link to template. Hi Sunpriat, in order to file this enhancement for you, I'd like to understand why you'd find that useful. If TemplateData is already in place, all the information you need about the template should already be there (each field has an icon with a letter i inside a circle, and will show the parameter description if you click on it), and a user who likes a visual editor probably will not want to go and change the complex code behind the template. What I'd appreciate would be a link to the new TemplateData editor which would allow me to fix existing TemplateData information or add more of them on the fly, but I wanted to hear your opinion about who would benefit from a link to the template page itself (or maybe you meant the documentation page about the template, or...?). Yes I mean template doc.In wikitext-editor i can scroll down and press link to the template (image) where i can -read full template documentation -see more examples of which are difficult to describe in words -read about other similar templates -edit template data (not change the template code). In wikitext editor we use the quick insertion of some template. How we can locally add a button with list of templates to the toolbox such as menu for CitationTool. We have linktool - when writing the word then displays a list of articles.
We have TemplateData where the parameter we can specify as "wiki-page-name"
in VE template editor when i fill field (marked as "wiki-page-name") I would like that VE show directly a dropdown list of articles, same as in linktool and in search.
They are looking at three different ideas for this. One is a standard list of edit summaries for everyone. Another is to use your web browser to remember what you've typed for previous ones. Finally, they are looking at whether it's possible to automatically generate custom edit summaries for certain kinds of edits (for example, changing the spelling of one word, or adding an image). Some users do not want to always use the editor, but sometimes want to use it. Old users asking the opportunity to change the button places. Sample: [Edit|Edit sourse] ->[Edit|Edit VE] where [Edit (link to VE)|Edit sourse (link to old)] ->[Edit (old)|Edit VE (VE)]. Hi Sunpriat, that's just a message which can be easily changed. Notice that I actually tried that move on the Italian WP months ago, where it now says more or less "Comment about the new interface". You'd think that helped. It didn't.
