Weather informer for your website!

Previously, on many home pages people used so-called "weather informers" - these are widgets (in the form of images) that showed the weather in the user's city. However, over time, these services have disabled access to informers via the HTTP protocol. Our service allows you to insert your weather informer to your site, as it was before.

So, let's get started. The informer itself is a PHP script that generates an image in PNG format, so to insert it, use the following code:

<img src="http://downgrade.hoho.ws/weather.php" width="160" height="170" border="0">

At the output you will get a full-fledged informer for a standard city with standard settings. Below are the settings that you can change and their initial value:
  • city - The city for which the weather is displayed. Default value: Moscow.
  • height - Height of the informer image. Default value: 170.
  • bgcolor - The background of the informer, specified in HEX format. Default value: f0ffff.
  • banner - The setting responsible for displaying the informer in a banner format measuring 88x31 (see below). Default value: False.
Example of a informer with parameters height=170:

Also, the informer supports the setting "?banner=true", which allows you to display the weather informer as a compact 88x31 banner. The first inscription in the banner is the temperature, the second is the wind speed. An example of an informer with the setting banner=true enabled:
